Enter Team Anti-Crashwar

This is by no means true or actually happening right now, it is just for discussion purposes only. If clans get together and do this, props to them.

Okay, just about every topic to this point has been Vr v Anti-Vr. How about we enter another team into this big fight. Team Anti-CrashWar. This team is made up of all the clans not in it currently and are wanting it to end. With the amount of players available in the pool of clans this new team can bring out 100's. Even splitting off into seperate groups to be more effective.

Now to the discussion part of this, here are a few questions to jog around your mind.

My opinions

Why haven't the clans not in this fight already, get into it to possibly put an end to it?

No one has come up to start a plan like this. It would take some guts and a lot of backing to put something like this together. Then there will be the people to question if it where to work. It'll be 50/50 whether the crashing war stops or it keeps going with this added 3rd party.

Are there people or leaders in these other clans that could band together and keep something like this organized(This third team)?

There are some that I think could get something like this together, but the question is if they would want to. It would be tough for them to lead their own clan and then also lead another team to stop the crashing war. Then they would also worry about the effects it would have on their own clans fights. Would Vr or Anit-Vr begin showing up at their clans fights and getting in the middle of that. There would be a lot of risks for these leaders.

Would this turn into a mega-cluster that would end up lasting throughout the next year?

Wouldn't want to see this happen, but in the end I think it would just turn into a huge 1v1v1 cluster. Could make the wilderness even more active, but in the end the process would just keep continuing and it would just be a massive cluster.

we know back in the days that N.I. was one of the first organized clan that specializes in crashing. lately NI had been Acing wars and fighting alongside with honor clans like DF, EOS, COR & etc. is N.I. transforming into a honorable clan for good? or it's just temporary while VR is still around?

We would prefer to fight with a clan which has maximum of 120cmb avg memberlist and about 70ppl on it. F2P based. We usually pull like 45 - 50 ppl.

Violent Resolution - 125 Combat Average

Well it was a long journey...but with recent events of clans being afraid to come out and PK or those clans coming out and ending within 30 mins we decided to having a "Training Comp" We have finally reached it, 125 F2P Combat Average! It's a true accomplishment. Great job to all of you guys! [Flaming removed. -Islamia]

its been months already since this crashing war began. What have we gotten out of it?.

We are destroying the clan world, and it seems noone cares. Its silly to think only this top clans are involved. You can see the effect of the war in most clans. TT is a strong clan, but most of the clans on their level, and involved in the crashing war. Same with Rsd. Eos, Cor and Df have been ignoring each other instead of hunting each other as it used to be. Vr has the numbers to be #1 but can't prove it because they never get a 1 vs 1. Small clans which most of their fights come from teams, can't fight in pvp because top clan members kill the members in those teams who are in the rival side. Hey, who is winning here? Even worse, is there anything to win?

Both sides are guilty, there is no "you started it", or "you crashed us that one time". Thing is, the clan world is going nowhere. We give no place for new clans, the small and middle sized clans close, even top clans like Di, Eh and Se. And the top clans don't grow because most people don't think its fun to be so limited (limited as Eos, Df, and Corr don't do anything but fighting Vr, Vr doesnt do anything but fighting "the alliance", and the other clans don't have a lot to do either), morepeople actually are leaving than joining clans

We are definetly not giving people reasons to join us. A clan works like an enterprise in my eyes. An enterprise set goals and motivates its employess to make them work hard to reach that goal. But that isn't happening at all. No clan involved in this crap knows how they want this to end, either they know what they are getting out of it. Those goals i talked about, just aren't there, and the motivation is null. Whats the motivation of a Vr member that knows it doesn't matter how hard he fights, it'll be 4 clans attacking them so he has no chance of winning? Whats the motivation of an Eos member to fight if there is nothing to prove? Whats the motivation of a Df member to fight if they are teaming with one of the clans they have hated for the longest? There is nothing in this crashing war but the pixels you can eventually get from fighting.

But its not just we don't have our goals clear, we have forgotten to have fun while playing. Its not about having fun ourselves, if not trying to hurt others just to be in a better situation than them, even when we are in a bad situation ourselves. AS an example of this i'll take the forum ddo'sing or w/e. I don't really care if its ilegal or not, i don't want to get into that, but whats the point? By doing it you acomplish nothing for yourself, or your clan. It doesnt make you better or stronger, yet you are only hurting someone to get an advantage, you are ruining someones else fun. And we have taken it further than the fights are not just because we dislike what some clan does, we hate everyone who is on a different memberlist as we are. Its actually sad how people on each side talk crap about the people on the other. "Everyone in that clan is a 10 years old bitc*". There are retards in every clan, there are smart guys in every clan, and it pisses me off how free people feel to talk crap about others. Making generalizations like that is what ruins the world in which we live. We don't tolerate others, so we try to find patterns between people to be able to discriminate them. "every jewish person is cheap, every french doesnt shower, every iraki is a terrorist". Thing is, there is all kinds of people everywhere, and the people i see flamming dont even know the person who the flames are aimed to.

So if there is nothing good in this, why do we keep going? Why don't we try to fix it? I've talked to people in each of this clans, and the answers i got are pretty much the same, "its too late, things are already like this and we cant change it". Well, let me tell you what. No, its not too late because if clan leaders had a talk and tried to understand each others point of view, this could be solved within an hour. But their egos are too big and they don't want to step back because "the other side would win". There is nothing to win, but there is something you should lose. Your stupid e-pride that is ruining the fun for everyone.

Well, i don't know how well i've done making my points, it's not so easy for me to write in english, but i hope you get what i mean. Its not about taking shots at other clan members, its about understanding why they do what they do, and if its right or not, and how can it be fixed, instead of just letting things be, because noone wants to solve anything.

Well we have seen in the past 2 weeks this Vr+DK vs The Alliance (Eos,Corr,DF) rivalry grow...

I myself do not know how long these fights will occur for in the future. From my point of view as a part of EOS. It does seem to me like VR mass up, nice ops, go to wild and just get banged up for however long it is till they decide to call it off... I would like to hear others ideas?

What is your view on this raging war?
Is it just free rune for the Alliance?
How can VR turn the tide of this war?

No need to flame on this topic, it isn't intended on targetting anyone involved in the War. It is just to get an idea of what everyone thinks of this Vr, Anti Vr war.

Message To The Entire Clan World!

Hi clan world, just had a thought. What if the entire clan world decided to go into the wilderness on 1 day at 1 time meet at 1 spot and unleash hell. An entire clan world at war. The clan world has been slumping for some clans and some clans have been prospering quite a lot either way this is a plus to the entire clan world. Everyone who thinks they would want to go post. Ideas? Thoughts? comments? all welcome. Deliberate!

Crashing Country Clans/teams For One Member?

Recently this caught my eye, today, when EoS, DF, CoR, all falled-in on an NI warlord, had crashed the whole of Latin Killers, simply because a VR member was in it. Not saying this was the only time an issue like this has occurred, (Probably has happened in the past as well, possibly from either side).

Do you think it is alright, because a member of a rival clan is accepted into a team, that this grants one full rights to crash the country clan/team/etc simply because one or two members from a rival clan are in it?

Personally, I just see this as somewhat of a chain reaction, slowly getting more & more involved.

*Another similar occurrence was when TT had went to fight DF, and both EoS/CoR jumped in to crash, simply because of assumptions towards TT.

Regarding: Clan Attitudes During Seemingly Impossible Situations

Being a neutral person in the clanworld.

When your clan enters a situation where seemingly you cannot win, how do your members react?

For example, if you are in clan A, and you have 50 people, but you know clan B is lurking on your world with 100 people and your members are aware how do you handle the situation?

I've seen many clans handle it many ways. For example - i've been in a clan that tells the truth saying they cannot handle that amount of people and they'd rather leave than take a beating.

I've been in a clan where they'd fight anyway.

Some clans also seem to be afraid of what the other clan might say about them on rsc so they fight for a few minutes and end and make excuses. This is why i think the clan world is shrinking and losing members. Clans are not about fighting for their clan and fighting outnumbered ect, they just want rsc rep or a win.

Today, i came across an interesting way of thinking about it:

I don't really agree that you should just fight back against a stronger opposition because you don't want to be flammed on rsc. I also don't agree with just taking ending and leaving knowing they are about to give you a struggle.

What Was Your Most Markable Moment ?

Well just like in Real Life, we all have our most markable moments in our Clanning Career, it being having one of the most unexpected wins at a pkri, Winning by just 3 opts against your rival, or being in the biggest war that has ever happend.It all depends on what you have passed through already.

My best moment was probably when I joned my first clan, and went to the first trip. The way I saw our ko power when in the wilderness, just amazed me, making me fall in love with clanning at first sight.

So for the lazy, what was your most remarkable moment in your Clanning History?

As many of you may have seen, the RAW list has been scraped in favor of a new system called the UCL.

How will the new UCL list affect the clan world? What do you think of it? Will clans post more on RSC now?
How will this affect the crashing war, if at all?

Any questions should be pmed to the managers (myself, yoto, hts or entendu) as we can't guarantee we will answer everything posted on this topic.

Any inaccuracies in the list will sort themselves out as fights go on. If your clan isn't included right now all you have to do is start posting in Clan Fights and you will be added to the list.

Oh and credit to Yoto for doing the bulk of the work and setting up the system.

New clans popping up have only shown nothing but a few months of glory, A few months of attitudes and all for nothing but 1 big heart attack.

Those 6 Clans are the only stable clans anymore, One of them will die out one day, We all thought EH,DI,SE Was going to be the last ones standing but we were wrong, This clan world, This game, Life, Is changing as we speak, You will see that these 6 clans will be getting everyone one day, These smaller clans from that have started from Scratch, Are soon and finally getting put to rest god forbid, But it's happening.

This is the end of most clans, 2010 is going to be a scary year, 2011 should be the final battles.

Well what is teamwork?

Definition:
cooperative work done by a team (especially when it is effective); "it will take money, good planning and, above all, teamwork"

So why is team work important in the clan world?
Well in my view team work is important in the clan world since if we all work together well in our respective clans anything is possible. Most of the great clans had good team work to make it to the top.

How is teamwork used in Exo?
Well team work is used in Exo in our fights, and off our fights such as stickam. We manage to pull together and accomplish our goals from beating clans on the battlefield, and then making girls become our bestfriends on stickam.

So my question to you is this:

And it has ended for a number of reasons which led to this point.

I guess the biggest reason is the fact that Scottien has decided to move on and that Horatio will be alot less active from rs on the 19th November.

You might think, why dont I just take the reigns and soldier on? Well i would and definately have the capability to, but im pretty tied down with work in the Army and i think you guys are aware of it. Especially now in the final 20 or so days leading up to my graduation as an officer. Also you might think, why not just promote Tlal? Well he is aussie, and so am I. 2 aussie leaders in an EST clan is a recipe for failure. I also have been told 5 hours ago that im going on another 6 day army ex tomorrow so its crap timing.
I wish strikecobra1 didnt leave us at the time he did, because then my options would be more open at this stage. But that is life

I told many of you that i never give up, i would never close illusion and that i stay here till the end. And if you see my clan history, ive stayed in every clan till its closed, and only on one other occasion, i left a clan after 3 years to take a break from rs and play some lifescape. So i dont talk crap when i say things like that.

But sometimes it takes a man to step up and make a difficult decision like this. It will not satisfy me (and im sure many others) for the clan to just stagnate and slowly dry up like a pond which has lost its stream of water flowing into it.

I want us to end on a high, to be remembered and to walk out with our heads high. Not stinking rot in some gutter off the coast of some wild country. This clan has achieved alot in its 5 months of existance. And i stinking thank all and every one of you, for your commitment so far

Your next question is probably, what are you going to do now? To be honest, first thing im going to do right now, is get a beer, then probably go meet up with this girl i met 2 weekends ago. And have a stinking good night before i leave AGAIN tomorrow (ffs i know) for 6 days on an army ex. As to RS, i dont know.

This is one of the hardest decisions that I have ever had to make and I know that I am going to lose alot of respect from this decision and possibly lose alot of friends that I have gained over the past 5 months. However, alot has changed within Illusion in recent times and the clan just isn't moving in the direction that we had intended it to.

I have put so much time and effort into the clan, that it completely breaks my heart to have to resort to this, however in order to maintain any sort of reputation that we have it is important that this is done now before we are brought into the melodrama and corruption of the current clan-world and our name is tarnished and flaunted like rubbish. Many clans doubted us and many clans under ranked us and time and time again we showed the clan world that we were there to be taken seriously and we will be remembered for that.

Illusion was initially created based around the concept that we would have a light hearted and fun atmosphere with a great community and create strong friendships. Pretty much the same concept that Tunescape followed and it seemed to work with for them. Yes we had visions of being a strong contender within the top 15 in the future but our main goal was to create a laid back clan free from the restraints and flaming/beef within most other top 25 clans.

However, it is obvious to anyone in the clan and outsiders in the clan-world who have become victim to the copious amounts of propaganda about us that at the moment the beef that we had once set out to avoid has eventually caught us up. Fake IRC logs, forum hacking attempts, spies, crashed fights, notice spamming, flaming. Is this game really that important that people have to resort to those sort of tactics in order to gain an advantage over another clan? We are ashamed to be leaders of a clan within these current times. What a catastrophic failure of common sense, there was once a time when the clan-world was a privilege to be a part of. Not anymore.

Now don't get me wrong, no way is Illusion in a slump but we are not progressing in the right direction anymore. We are creating too much drama and beef with other clans and it's throttling our once great community. Leading this clan is no longer enjoyable, it takes up way too much time and it is not just about delegating work load because the work load is easily manageable for me. I'm someone who takes everything extremely seriously and Runescape, although a game effects me in real life.

I need to concentrate on my degree, my social life and retiring from leadership is the only way that I am ever going to get back my life. I doubt that I will quit Runescape, I will probably go to a clan where I can just lead fall ins

It has been an amazing journey for us over the past 5 months and it has been an absolute honour to be able to fight with every single one of you. Both current members and members who have moved on to different clans or retired from RS completely. I will never forget the amazing times that we shared together or the friendships that I have gained over this period. I have learnt so much from all of you and I will cherish that forever.

As for what lies ahead for me, well I don't know really. I'm going to take a short break from Runescape completely and then assess what options I have. I may find myself going to CR or Exo if I actually decide to continue with my clan career at all. The current state of the clan-world makes me want to just call a quits on everything to be quite frank.

Welfarers - Thought From The Owner

To all the people saying we're free loot cause we're always out there: keep coming. Because if we lost every fight we wouldn't be able to maintain ourselves: we win more than some of the time :) So you guys can think free loot, cause when we see you out there, we think the same thing about YOU.

And I'm not angry; I'm just writing this because we're talked about but I wanted a topic that I started instead of one started about us or one that involves us :)

Hey guys. I'm Noah, the owner/creater/leader of Welfarers.

Before I begin, I'm not even going to respond to those who say "crap clan" to this topic. I'm a mature individual, and I assume there are other mature people reading this topic. I'll just have to ignore the immature ones; this post is really directed at other clan leaders/council members.

A little of our history:

I created Welfarers (formerly One Itemers) because I wanted an open clan chat I could go to in order to PK in multi. I didn't want wars, scheduled fights, combat requirements, mandatory returns, requirements on pk sets, or anything. I didn't want to have to apply, I didn't want to have to commit.

I wanted to have fun.

So I created the clan, and it grew a lot. Apparently, a lot of other people wanted this kind of community too. We have become a substantial team. There are those who say that we run and are crap pkers, and it's true that we have running issues. But all clans have their problems. The running is getting better. And we are not crap pkers; I've been pking for many years in Runescape, and so have many other pkers in our clan chat. Some are even quite famous. But I'm not making this topic to argue with those of you who think we're bad pkers.

Who we are now:

Almost everyone in the PK community knows about "Welfarers". Though some join our clan chat to bs, we have been kicking the bsers, and most are in there to have a good time. Plus, with the future clan chat updates that will include not being able to attack those in your own clan chat, the problem with bsers will be moot, and we will be 10x stronger.

But as of now, most clans hate us. They come out to pk, and they run into us (who are always out, 24/7, our "trip" never ends) and sometimes win and sometimes die. If they don't have war opts, they normally die.

And to those who posted in the other topic about the dying clan community about how there's no one to fight: we're always available/willing/ready to fight.

What a lot of clan leaders don't understand is that they are actually at a disadvantage when they encourage their clan members to bs us. They get on the blacklist, and our members can't be in the bsing clan and welfarers at the same time. I've had PMs from members of Rot, Rdk, Vr, Rsd, Exodus, Kill Orgy, and many more clans asking to be taken off the blacklist.

I've had to tell them that I can't do it. I've also had many 120+ f2p cb members of Welfarers (check our ML, we're not a low level clan) who have asked me if they could join another clan to get the more organized war experience and I've had to tell them no.

If there was just one clan that agreed not to enter our cc to bs, they would get over 30 applicants who are 120+ and who I personally know are good pkers. But, I guess clans don't want that? It's fine if they don't, works fine for me either way.

Anyway, I just want to tell clans that I don't want to ruin the P2P war community. Since we're always around, we could possibly start ACing, or helping out in other ways.

Or we can continue to crash the wars, because it's fun to kill clans that call us crap :)

But either way, I want to tell you guys: we're here to stay.

We have a solid leadership, and we have a formal system of applying for ranks. We have a website with over 1.5k people registered on it, and we have a vent that's full almost all of the time.

Instead of calling us crap and saying we're going to die, I suggest you approach me and try to work with us. Yes, we're an open cc. No, we're not insignificant. We have the numbers in mass, and though we can't take on Rot's war opts, we sure as hell can beat a lot of clans, and have done so. Just look on the youtube thread I made.

Though, again, I'm not angry, just reflective

I also hope you realize I'm a mature individual who isn't some idiot 13 year old sitting in his chair randomly trying to make some open clan chat.

It's MUCH harder to get an open clan chat organized, deal with bsers, and have a good time. But there's nothing like being able to come to a community and PK in multi with a huge team WHENEVER you want, wearing WHATEVER you want. You can leave, stay, do whatever. And when we war, it's pretty bamf to wipe out whole big-name clans. You can say it doesn't happen, but it does. We have the vids to prove it.

And don't forget - we're a team for you guys to fight. Bring a group of people, try to beat us. It's fun for both sides. We're all playing Runescape to have fun, after all.
